Out Debt Story: A Certain Kind of Love Story

Our debt story

Once upon a time in a basement far, far away, we were a couple so in love that even our credit cards blushed. Little did we know, our journey from infatuation to financial liberation involved a $51,000 debt monster, a sprinkle of irony, and a Debt Lasso Method that made our love story truly priceless.

How we became the Debt Free Guys: A debt story

Well, it all started with a love story that was a mix of heart-eyed emojis and financial face-palms. Picture this: two deeply infatuated lovebirds living in a basement apartment that could double as a set for a low-budget horror movie. Romantic, right?

But wait, there’s a twist! They were stuck-suck, not suck suck. You know, that mid-30s basement-renting kind of suck. And why? Oh, just a casual $51,000 in credit card debt. It’s like love at first swipe, but with plastic.

David, our knight in shining debt, started his financial adventure with a $500 credit card for emergencies. Spoiler alert: Ireland is apparently a safe haven because he returned with zero emergencies but a $500 balance. Smooth move, David.

Then there’s John, the guy who moved to Denver with $5,000 and turned it into $25,000 of credit card debt faster than you can say “snowboarding gear.” Priorities, right?

Fast forward to their dream of a Rocky Mountain vacation home. Cue reality check – they couldn’t afford it, and the financial confession revealed a whopping $51,000 debt monster.

Now, hold onto your credit cards, because here’s the punchline: these two financial wizards were working in financial services. Yes, helping others manage their money while secretly juggling a credit card circus.

They were spending money like it was going out of style. $400 a week on groceries? Check. $400 a week on dining out? Double check. New outfits every weekend because, heaven forbid, they be caught wearing the same thing twice? Triple check.

But fear not! Our dynamic duo hatched the Debt Lasso Method, a financial magic trick that made CNBC, Good Morning America, and others go “YouTube it!” And just like that, 2.5 years later, they emerged debt-free, ready to conquer the world – or at least move out of the basement.

But wait, there’s more! They didn’t just stop at financial redemption. They crafted systems and processes, learned the hard way (unnecessary but dramatic), and now, they’re helping others in the LGBTQIA+ community live their fabulous lives.

So, if you’re drowning in financial despair, feeling like the only one not living the fabulous life you deserve, fear not. These financial wizards turned life coaches are here to sprinkle some debt-free magic on your woes. Because who needs financial woes when you can have financial wows, right?
